charm and elegance at a place full of history. Marroquin's Castle is located in the grounds of the old state "El Castillo". A space built 100 years ago by Don Lorenzo Osorio Marroquin, son of President Jose Manuel Marroquin Osorio and his wife Matilda. It was built on plans brought to Europe between 1899 and 1900, under the direction of French architect Gaston Lelarge collaboration with Julian Lombana teachers and Demetrio Chavez was restored in 1952 by Roberto Restrepo. In 1935 the City Council Chia started to build in the main square a memorial to the Chibcha race, which was executed by Martin A. Jimenez, M. Alonso Neira and Luis A. Sanchez Valderrama, was inaugurated on October 12, 1935.

Since mid-December, after his restoration, opens the door to offer attendees an entertainment site that retains all the original details of its architecture and decoration.

On site, everything is designed for people sitting in a real castle. Louis IV furniture, lamps dating from the time of its construction, the frescoed ceilings and stairs, now provide for any social event (baptism, first communion, marriage, 15 years, wedding night , or even holiday weekends in which you can participate.
